Dr. Mike Okonkwo, the Presiding Bishop of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM), is not only a seasoned man of God with over 50 years of dedicated service, but also a devoted lover of music. He passionately preaches the Power in the Word to a diverse global audience while nurturing his deep love for music, expressed in many forms throughout the Ministry.
In 2014, inspired by this passion for worship and music, Dr. Mike Okonkwo launched the ZAMAR Music Concert. This remarkable music concert has become a staple of the “Kingdom Life World Conference,” the flagship conference of the Ministry.
Over the years, ZAMAR Music Concert has transformed into a one-of-a-kind gospel experience, characterized by high-intensity, spirit-filled worship experiences.
To the glory of God, ZAMAR has been graced by renowned Gospel acts, from within Nigeria and of international repute, blessing countless lives through their ministrations.
The ministrations during ZAMAR are not limited to vocal musical renditions, but are of different forms of art in diverse expressions including choreography and poetry, making the ZAMAR Concert, the indescribable radical worship experience that we’ve so come to cherish and expect!
